We all understand that action movies are cheesy escapism. After all, could one commando really take out a whole compound full of bad guys? Actually, yes. It turns out the history books are full of stories of soldiers doing things so badass they'd hesitate to put them into a film for fear of killing the realism. This is the story of five men: Simo Hayhe, Yogendra Singh Yadav, Jack Churchill, Alvin York, and Audie Murphy; and the incidents that set them apart as some the baddest individuals to walk the face of the earth. This is BadAss.

I'm actually related to jack through my father's side of the family; i actually am Scottish - but he seriously wasn't, he was English. I was lucky enough to actually meet him two or three times when i was a wee boy and he spoke like prince charles. He loved Scotland though, and everything Scottish. When he died he left me his kilt because i told him wheni was about seven that i wanted to be a soldier like him (rolling in his grave now; i became a mathematician instead!)

years after the war when he lived in England again, he used to throw his bag from a moving train everyday on his way home from work. when he was asked why he did this he said he threw it into his own back garden so he didnt have the hassle of carrying it from the station - LEGEND! makes you proud to be English lol
