You can't call me crazy about that. It was a featured car in 5.0 Mustang magazine. It had stock heads with a 90mm turbo. I can't remember the article exactly but I think he had a stock crank at least. I don't know about the pistons or rods cause it just said stock on the upgrade chart for motor. I think he had the stock in tank fuel pump with an inline one on the frame to increase pressure. he would have also had to have a set of badass injectors too. he did it on 17-18 psi.

I agree turbos make better/more hp and tq. But you are crazy if you think a stock 97 cobra motor ran an 8.26. it would have to have after market rods and pistons, at a minimum. It may have looked stock but that car would easily be making over 1000 whp, the 97 cobra motors can't take that, a 03/04 cobra with forged internals would have a hard time. Not saying he had an all out race motor, but he had some work done to that motor. O and that procharger sounds sick by the way.

I read in a magazine, this dude put a 90mm turbo in that exact car and ran an 8.26. trust me ditch the procharger and run a single big ass turbo. the rest of his motor was mostly stock. people were making fun of his car cause it looked completly stock and had a wheelie bar and a parachute. let's just say they ate their words and shit their pants. an 8.26......!!!!
