Update: 5/9/11
First of all, this go cart has been dead for a good 3 years now. Shortly after this video, I scrapped it and started building a new one. The new one is completed and we clocked it in at 47mph down a dirt road. Now, that was before the engine mods. It has a Honda GX390, but now that engine has a billet piston rod, 32lbs valve springs, a 32mm Minuki carb, and no governor. As soon as it's back together, I'm putting up a driving video from some off road trails. It's green and sexy.

@edgarstheman22
If ya really wanna know, all i did was cut the old muffler pipe off, grab a piece of metal pipe i had, drill/tap it, adn thread in a bolt as a set screw

Great ingenuity! This is the kind of kart every kid dreams about but rarely achieves.

ha ha ha. Well you see there was one i built before this. It was because in 4th grade i asked my mom if i could buy one and she said no. So after consulting with my friends and figuring i could make one i asked my mom if i could build one. She said sure ebcause she never thought i could do it. 3 months later and i threw together this thing with a wooden frame, lawnmower belt-drive clutch, and an old 2 cycle 3hp snowblower engine. It went like 2 mph. 2 years later i built this one
