first : 5 sec is the shortest time with the ricoh ... yep i used the internal timer ... the shutter is pretty the same sound, as retracting the lens ... like a servo motor ... form how it sounds and when it occurs i guess its the aperture that makes the sound, from closing before, and opening after the actual shot ... the shutter itself makes no sound at all ...
Nice timelapse movie! Were you able to do this with the Ricoh's own internal timer? If so how many shots and at what intervakl will it control? Also how loud is the shutter? I like to take timelapses through my car's windscreen but even a quiet shutter click gets annoying after a day or so. I've modified cameras for timelapse because 9000 shots at 1-second interval isn't allowed by any of the cameras I have!
