We have to stop spending money we don't have in Washington. If you look at what they're spending on, you just shake your head. It's something that we pay for each day as a taxpayer. It drives up the cost for businesses and individuals and hurts our economy on every level. When I was in the State Senate we balanced our budget, we cut taxes and we invested more in education. Just because you have checks in the check book, doesn't mean you have money in the bank. Washington has failed to understand that.
