With the Bicentennial Mexican Independence Day approaching, The Brownsville Museum of Fine Art in conjunction with The Mexican Consulate and the Asociación de la Plástica de Garza García, A.C. present 200 years of Life and Color.

The Asociación de la Plastica de Garza Garcia A.C. is a private organization composed of artists with vast curriculum and new values for the production of art in its various manifestations.

Please join us for this special exhibition that features more than forty Asociación de la Plastic artists of Mexico that have defined their meaning of independence through various mediums and works of art. In this exhibit, the artists engage us with their vision, and passion about their country and how it relates to their personal sense of color in everyday life.
