Hoop Bliss

I wrote this poem, Hoop Bliss. My friend Sass put it to music and made this video for it. Pretty darned cool!!!

Hoop Bliss

stepping into the circle
I
exchange hopelessness for
hoop blissness
center myself
in a symbol without beginning
without end
both limitless embrace
and halo.

We are an atom, I
the nucleus,
centered,
the axis
creating
balance

holistic and all encompassing

O

including every possibility
and
ineffable Oneness

O

her very aspect transcends linear reality

centered
I
tune in, tone up, turn round and round and round
as things go round and round
and what goes around comes around, all things
connected inextricably
indivisibly, profoundly
consummately perfectly

O

reminding me --
all that orbits me
is pulled to me
by me
again
and again
and again
and again ...
as surely as the planets
revolve
around the center
of the galaxy
