L'un des plus grands films du cinéma de genre. Rollin fut le fils de Franju, disparu trop tôt, et peut-être cette passerelle poétique et artistique entre l'Europe et l'Amérique pour des raisons bien particulières. it's about a couple who goes to a cemetery for some "alone" time and end up getting locked in for the night. they then go through the night experiencing different things, both real and imagined. from what i remember of the ending, the guy gets locked in a tomb by his girlfriend. hope this helps!

Jean Rollin's underrated masterpiece filled with great mood and haunting atmosphere. Terrific music score blends perfectly well with this unique horror film. In my opinion, the story is a cross between the works of Charlotte Bronte and Edgar Allan Poe. Highly recommended! Thank you for this posting blackxmas999.

what a great movie! the music really helped to set it apart among other things. definitely a change from what most people think of when talking about early 1970s "horror" flicks!
