@foofoothegreat To get clear LH pizz, you need to hold down your notes in the lower fingers harder than usual. So when you pluck the string with finger 3 the firmer contact of finger 2 (& others) will make the note sound clearer. Also you need to pluck in a slightly more upward movement. This achieves two things (1) the string pings back onto the wood of the fingerboard (thereby making note clearer still) (2) your plucking finger has more chance of clearing the string on the right as you pluck.

How do you do clear left hand pizzicato? I'm having trouble with having it kind of muddled when I try to do the runs in LH pizz.
