Well said....I honestly fear for future generation in this country (Aus)Howard is steamrolling over us and there is little we can do except take the opportunity to get rid of him. If we dont we will watching our childreen never being able to own a home, wages stripped away to minimums and the few rights we have in the work arena gone. No wonder Bush and little Johhny are great mates they are both batting for the wealthy and bugger the poor.

I just checked my payslips and I earned more per hour in 1998 than I do now. Is it just me or is there something wrong here. I'me an Aussie and I have seen the signs ..we are on the road that America is travelling and if we dont get rid of Howard this year it will be the last chance to save this country from him and his cronies. Come on Aussies its compulsary to vote, so you may as well make it count, get rid of Howard before he destroys anymore of our rights.

Note that school workers work for the state & if your state is not doing good, then things get bad. All this relates to tax dollars. If your state has low taxes, low money comes in to your school system. Kids don't get the help to learn they need & test scores get low, etc. Workers have a hard time & don't make it. Many do not know the poverty of the workers. They don't get out & be seen. I ask every one too. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. If people don't know the poverty no help.

Does anyone remember minimum wage of $5+? I remember kids in my class, that

ate once a day & the teachers crying over this. The mother made $5+ an hour. Like $3 after taxes. Life cost more now & the wages are not matching it. Low taxes Low pay put us here. Kids in school are losing their ED because of lack of money. Now scores are low. There is your low taxes!

@noseMF There are 20 million vacant houses in USA anyways and the banks hold them in their hands using monopoly while poor people have to suffer...That happens when people are not able to build houses on their own land the way they want to...Everything what was built by the companies termites will eat it...

WE WILL FIX THis PROBLEM no bull, every body going to work 3/12hours week and get pay for 40h,with a minimum of $25h that way the parents can spend time with the childrens and have enough money to have a decent live for them VOTE ED BROWN AND ME 2008
