Sword Tournament

Sword tournament held in the spring of 2006. This is non stop action because these are 4 minute rounds for points, few holds called.
Broad Sword techniques fought with ken do, & Boca. In a tournament it is too risky to fight with true live steel swords as some of the more experienced fighters do, this can become more intense as you will see in the second tournament clip.

Yes, you are right about the lack of technique. That is because not everyone is a master of the sword, that comes with years of actual training and experience, these fighter's are beginners. About the giggling well that is the girlfriend of one of the fighter's whom is running the camera and that's her personality. Sometimes you just can't afford a professional camera crew and who cares. Sorry that sounded as if it was a sore spot but no, It's just the easiest way to state the facts. Enjoy!

Truth be told, it looks more like they're just playing at it rather than using much by way of actual technique.

It really doesn't look like they've had much by way of training. Also? That constant giggling. Ugh.
