No kidding! That has got to be one of the most powerful 32' reeds I have ever heard. I love this movement! The organ has such a beautiful sound especially with the full chords in the main theme. And I love the way the organ feels like it is almost producing the sound of thunder!

i dont like french organ music. it as no real theme. it looks somethimes of a little child pushes al the buttoms. bit this one is fine. and i like the organ of the sint jans church in s'hertogenbosch more.

No, the Madeleine organ does not have a 32' Bombarde, only a 32' Quintaton

Oh ok thats what i thought..i have a recording of it and i was trying to listen for a 32' bombarde but i couldnt hear it..oh well it still sounds fabulous anyway. It does have a 16' bombarde though.
