Ashton Fitz-Gerald walks us through some steps in getting 6 month old 'Phender' to do a remote retrieve. The dog needs to have some other basics in order to pick up passive objects - in this case a tennis ball, while the dog goes back into a static position and the handler is remote from the dog. All commands have been taught with the Sit Means Sit collar which can be found at http://www.sitmeanssit.com

  • Are you kidding? The clicker is a POSITIVE way of teaching a dog. The ecollar creates immense PAIN on the dog. The dog works out of FEAR. Don't you wonder, why shock collars are forbidden by LAW in Germany?

  • So what does the remote collar do? How is it different than clicker training?

  • Thanks for making the video I was wondering how to do this! I love how you broke down the steps as well. Looking forward to the next on. Phender looks like he is having tons of fun to always good
