After a not-so-successful first time of making French style macarons, a meringue and almond flour confection, I made a second attempt this weekend. The results were much better.

  • i dont want it too sweet.....is it really sweet with all that sugar can i cut down on the sugar? makeing this for bf and he doesnt like over sweet things

  • @ShinjuHoshi - Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the nature of macarons is that they are made with a fair amount of sugar. The entrie structure changes when you reduce the sugar. If your boyfriend doesn't like sweets, this isn't the treat to make for him.

  • What kind of oven did you use? What is temperature and how long for baking time? Thank you for answer in advance ^_^

  • @suchatnut - thank you for your questions. I have a convection oven. As for temperature and time, I don't recall exactly what they were. Since it has been more than a year and I made three different attempts at baking macarons, I used three different recipes, too!

  • great video and funny too (2hours-sleep)

  • OMG BEAUTIFUL HOUSEEEEE

  • Good tutorial :) We appreciate the attention to detail for beginners, like checking the skin after setting. Other videos weren't as helpful!

I love Thailand! But don't complain too much about the Thai humidity, as we are suffering in the wet Irish weather!! ;)

    Keep up the good work!

  • they look like laduree! amazing job i wanna try too :)

  • thats why they are so expensive, in parsi I bought the 8 for 16 € and in Toronto the 12 for $33 CAD

  • can i have the recipe that you used for this? I've been trying to make macarons (using the French method) here in Manila but they've been epic failures. It's either the feet didn't come out or they were too small that they didn't stand out. And do you have any tips as well? thanks in advance :)

  • Here's my attempt of making macarons (ube and pistachio flavor).
