This is the fantastic original TurboGrafx / PC-Engine PCエンジン CD opening intro cinematic for Dragon Slayer Legend of Heroes ドラゴンスレイヤー. Wonderful crystal clear music, deep reverbs, and of course the narration which had to be displayed as text on those watered down ports which displayed a wall of text instead of the stunning vivid images in this version.

Dragon Slayer Legend of Heroes is one of those rarely seen and seldom mentioned role playing games for the TurboGrafx 16 / PC-Engine system that stood out of the crowd by a long shot. With a fantastic musical score, amazing graphics, and and addictive game engine, it was by far and away one of the best games ever released for the TurboGrafx 16 CD system.

Any other port I have seen and heard of this game does it absolutely no justice. It had voice naration throughout the game, but the narration was frequently handled by the console sound engine rather than just being played from the audio CD. This was uncommon and truly showed the skill of the developers.
