Wow I would have thought that it was more like twenty. I love watching the videos of this coaster. There sure were a lot of strides made in coasters just a few years after Leap the Dips. I rode a coaster in Ohio once that was built in the 1920's. I thought it was awesome. It was the Big Dipper in Aurora, Oh at Geuaga Lake.

I know it is an old coaster and a landmark, but I think I would not be comfortable riding this. Sounds like the track and car are going to fall apart. Just doesn't sound good.

I went to lakemont and rode this 5 times in a day. I took HD video that I need to process, add some ragtime piano music "The Entertainer" that also came out in 1902. My mom never would go on coasters, but tried this one, and screamed at every little dip. Halfway up the chainlift, she was like, oh god, why did I get on this thing" lol Not an exciting ride by todays standards, but its something to experiance, roller coasters did not start out with 200 foot drops and inversions.
