orange-bellied parrot in the wild ,victoria 2010

Filmed in august this is one of the remaining 50 orange bellied parrots left in the wild. This is also filmed in winter on the mainland coast in victoria making this a rare piece of footage for its time. The bird is likely to be extinct in the wild in the next year or two. If studied further you will realise this is one of the best parrots australia has to offer in both looks personality and its habits in the wild such as migrating.
