they are not called atlantic salmon if your catching in the pacific ocean are they at least they should not be.
GAspe Salmon is klnown around the world it is the salmon with the most fat and least dry of all salmonids very tasty
on the east coat the only pacific salmon here is in the can basically cat food.
dry like cardboard.
simlar to a big trout.

im guessing your from the eastcoast ,, over here no one eats atlantic salmon,, sockeye is the number one! the fisheries here want you to kill and report them when you catch them places

you mght be the only person in the world with that opinion as far as eating them is concerned none is better than the atlantic
as far as sport fishing goes the king of them all is the Atlantic Salmon

Atlantic salmon suck,, i live on vancouver island... and those things have somehow been introduced in the pacific ocean and they are killing the sockeye,coho,and other native species ,, there garbage salmon as far as im concerned ,, nothing like a british columbia steelhead or spring

Stuff called greenland shark. It's an icelandic delicacy. They bury the shark to process and rot it. The flesh is rich in urea and ammonia (as sharks urinate through their skin) and final product smells awful.
