the music and tune is from a middle ages italian song. An italian version of chad gadya is very popular today ( for the general italian population).

It's a very beautiful version and whether meant or not, it overflows with kedusha and the timelessness of 'am yisrael.

The music is simply amazing, it's a shame to use it for this purpose before honor the real song of Chad Gadia with this music-which can be a great Kidush Ha'Shem.
