Plato elevated the idea of a supernatural world (The World of Essences) to such importance that it heavily influenced religions of the time. Judeo-Islamic-Christian beliefs (Islam 500+ years later) adopted its importance. It was the *lie* that began the Dark Ages. There is NO Hereafter. Aristotle (~1100 CE) began Western recovery , but Arabs ignored it due to theologian Al -Ghazali ─where you are stuck.

Yep, it's the media spin that makes Islam look bad!

It has nothing to do with beheadings, bombings, child indoctrination, 'honor' killings, wife beating, child marriage, child death in childbirth, no driving for women, stonings for adultery (reduced to whipping & years in jail if raped, & further reduced if she marries her rapist), the notion that a woman's face be hidden because it is like a vagina, cutting off of noses, acid tossed in faces, female slavery (for sex) etc.

Depressed Muslim women are unnoticeable, because they are oppressed.  There's no 'psychology' in Islamic culture & the men believe prayer & obedience solves everything.
