Well known Ron Paul Supporter gets arrested for JAYWALKING!

The Official Charges ARE IN: 1) Obstruction of Public Streets W/O Permit and 2) Failure to obey a Police Officer.

Yes folks! JUST OBEY! I will state for record (since many people have stated otherwise), Mr. Tanner was NOT in a public street. He was in the MEDIAN at the entrance to the Civic Center (aka A PRIVATE DRIVE leading to a parking lot).

I just received an email from Mr. Jack Tanner. The first charge that has been filed against him (Obstructing a Public Street W/O a Permit) was ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL by a district court in 2003. Whereas the second charge directly resulted from the first charge, it looks as if this case may be thrown out. Mr. Tanner and his attorney will fight if it goes to court.

Charges eventually were dropped. Tanner says the obstructing law was actually found unconstitutional in 2003, and therefore there was no law for him to have violated.

There is no video to support this claim. Just still pictures that could have been taken at another time. Also that was one big honkin driveway. The poor guy could have been hit.

i got a ticket by jay walking, and i was walking where the line was, no cars were moving and it was a red light so i crossed, and the opposite side was green so i cross with bunch of ppl i got ticketed but them no, i got supa pissed. racist to asians or teenagers "which some goes after" lol
