What is it 20 or 30 million Illegals in the USA that are let go every day doing far more wrong with illegal paperwork, no ins. no respect for anything, and this is who the Police decided to pick up for the "safety" of the taxpayer....p-l-e-a-s-e

WRONG
A stop sign in a mall parking lot is a suggestion that we obey for our mutual safety and convenience. It's not a roadway, so traffic laws don't apply.
You seem to have no concept of the difference between private property and public property.
Are tax dollars used to build driveways?
Can a police officer ticket you for littering if you throw a candy wrapper on your living room floor?

WazupMyNinja, So anyone who puts their life in danger should be put in jail? When people use a cell phone they can get cancer...Should we put them in jail also?

its better to be in jail then hit by a car

If there was no law for him to be arrested for, it sounds like a clear cut case of False Arrest to me.

UPDATE:
UPDATE:
UPDATE:
"Tanner accused the Sheriffs Dept. of wasting time and resources on arrests like his, stating "it adds unneeded expense to an overloaded system."
Charges eventually were dropped. Tanner says the obstructing law was actually found unconstitutional in 2003, and therefore there was no law for him to have violated.

There is no video to support this claim. Just still pictures that could have been taken at another time. Also that was one big honkin driveway. The poor guy could have been hit.

i got a ticket by jay walking, and i was walking where the line was, no cars were moving and it was a red light so i crossed, and the opposite side was green so i cross with bunch of ppl i got ticketed but them no, i got supa pissed. racist to asians or teenagers "which some goes after" lol
I just received an email from Mr. Jack Tanner. The first charge that has been filed against him (Obstructing a Public Street W/O a Permit) was ruled UNCONSTITUTIONAL by a district court in 2003. Whereas the second charge directly resulted from the first charge, it looks as if this case may be thrown out. Mr. Tanner and his attorney will fight if it goes to court.
