Video footage shot by Edinburgh College of Art lecturer Liz Ogilive in 1989 of drawing and painting students working in the college and some shots of their degree show. Robbie Bushe compiled and edited it 18 years later. The original was shot on VHS and is very grainy and washed out but I am sure it will still be of interest to those around at that time.
hi there love the tune on this video could you tell me who it's by, I know it's some version of bogie's bonny belle. i see that the stone roses are credited as the artist but it really doesn't sound like them to me (not a fan of theirs so wouldn't know if they had done it) but fairly sure they aren't acoustic scottish music.

Just stumbled upon this wee gem. It's a wonderful piece of footage and history Robbie. (Loved the soundtrack too) :)

It's funny to think that this is some footage of my Grandpa's cousin (John Houston), who I never met and now never will, shot in the year I was born of 4th years at art school. Though it's not the same art school or subject, I found it in the very year I'm away to do my degree show. Spooky and kind of sad, but certainly very interesting. :)

Wow- I remember this show. Some of the images have stayed with me for years. I was in first year- nice to look back.
