Good point. XD
Although I know a friend who's worked at McDonald's for like 7-8 years now... I think they're thinking of putting him in some branch manager position. That's not half-bad for McD's.

You've got to keep in mind that fast-food employees are actually pretty under-trained. They just get a uniform, some training by their peers (who may have only 3-4 months seniority on the new guy) and that's it.
Plus, the ingredients aren't usually put on everything because all the food is in the franchise-approved boxes that just has a few labels (Name of product, mostly)
Trust me. I've worked at Subway.

I used to work at Subway, and I'm pretty sure the ingredients for the bread aren't on the boxes. I was a vegetarian when I worked there, and my co-workers didn't even understand vegetarianism let alone veganism. Therefore, when anyone asked about the food, sometimes they would just go "Yes." and I know that they don't know.

I made a video about this too. But haven't uploaded it yet because I am so lazy... I always forget to bring it from my laptop LOL
Yeah people are annoying sometimes, they can't conceive the fact of someone not eating animal products. They get so shocked and scared and for me it has just become the most natural thing in the world LOL

KFC LAWL

Excuse me????
That reminds me. One of my friends had a partner with three children under 10. They were eating KFC and my friend said to them "Mmmm this is some good chicken" and the children asked him what a chicken was! WTF???

I hate that shit where Westerners get so racist over people who eat dogs. They get all riled up, meanwhile they are eating birds, fish, pigs, cows, sheep etc etc. It's a very narrowminded and hypocritcal thing to do, to criticise other people who eat meat just because the animals they eat are different from those you eat. A pig that has been raised with people will sit on command, walk on a lead, be affectionate and can do anything a dog can and probably more seeing as they are more intelligent.

Thats a great quote!

Yeah you're totally right.
I think that there is a big gap in peoples mind between food, and where the food came from.
My friend down the street didn't even know if ham came from a pig, a cow, or a chicken.
It scared me.
Thanks for commenting!
Awesome rant! :-)
Thanks for what you said at the end. You have no idea how happy that makes me, that I helped you become vegan and now you will be helping others. Imagine if it keeps spreading out from there! One person really can make a difference, even if that difference is relatively small :-)
