Well, what if you took only pictures during the day? Let's say you took 365 pictures, one for each day of the year, at high noon, and played them as motion film? You'd never see night. Now, if you did pictures every twelve hours, then you end up with a video that flickers at roughly 15Hz and possibly inducing seizures on the viewer.

It called effin Photoshop, as long as you get a similar angle Photoshop can be used to crop and make it appear as if its the same angle. And ya 7677876 is completely right on the use of a greenscreen, its not all CGI is photos added with CGI transistions
