This is hilarious, I tuned in to enjoy an excellent funk classic only to see a bunch of comments about the war. Grow up the lot of you! But back to the tune - it is indeed one of the finest funk tunes every recorded - dynamite bass intro. Some of the commenters here would be doing well to remember that and keep the war comments for a more appropriate forum...

It's all American music to me. Critics like to label Americans music; R&B, soul, country soul, old race music....WTF, is this Walmart, It's all just America baby!! We should be proud regardless of color.
