I was on security for the Union that night. A tall thin young man in a white sheepskin jacket walked up to me and asked where the Green Room was for the artists. I told him it was right next to him. He smiled in a camp way and thanked me sincerely. A nice man. Richie James. I hope he is in a monastery really. Smash were fine.
