Wawa Primary School has a population of two hundred and thirty students in the school year 2010-2011. It has six teachers and is currently being led by Mrs. Crecencia Castillo, the head teacher. Wawa Primary School had been identified as low performing since 2009. The school leadership has attributed factors relating to turn-over of teachers and poverty of families in the barangay on its overall low performance in the National Achievement Test (NAT). The Library Project began in June 2010 and was completed in December. Special thank you to our Book Partners: Scholastic, Adarna House and Paper Tigers.
