This is exactly what Netflix wanted to happen from the start. Lure millions of customers in with a cheap $8 a month deal, cause Blockbuster to shut down, and then jack their price way up when they have an almost monopoly on the movie rental business. Assholes

Blockbuster is like a government bureaucracy. It is just slow, inefficient, and failing to respond to the increasing situation. But at least its going away.

my issue with redbox is they only have movies that are new... no classics, no blockbusters.... just new releases, very low amount of movies compared to other businesses

are you that retarded ? red box only has movies that are semi-new and bolckbuster on total access is the same as netfix... actually even better. you can exchange your mailed movies for free new releases, and no additional fees for bluray, and they now offer games. hands down bb is still better.
