Union rags had every chance to go by Hansen on a track that wasnt favoring the rail or speed. Almost every BC winner closed from the outside in the middle of the track. Union Rags is a nice albeit green colt that has a ton of potential, but Hansen dug in and never gave up to the pressure of two very nice colts running him down. Give credit where credit is due.

Its easy to call a winner in hindsight.

I can see Hansen winning the preakness due to the shorter distance....I think he will lead in the Derby but will fall back before the finish...

I'm not sure who I'm going for this year for the Derby, both Hansen and Union Rags are entered. I respect Hansen A LOT for staying the leader throughout the whole race, but with a few extra strides, Union Rags would of beat him. I love Union Rags for his speed, as well...so I have no idea who I'm gonna root for.
