One of my first poems written after i finally started to get serious about poetry.... i'll give you the lyrics below

The Waves softly but rapidly crash on the shoreline. Closer and closer, in comes the tide to take me away. I'll be waiting for you, mother ocean, to take me away from land, where I can live free, under the surface, in your arms. I'm waiting for that day to come soon, before the land becomes inhabitable, a desolate nuclear wasteland. I'll be safe under you, mother ocean. I could live with all your sons and daughters that have lived in you for millions of years. Your calm waves will rock me to and fro like a cradle til I fall into my dream state. The ironic part about that is that you, mother ocean, are only a dream of my own imagination. I sadly know you will never come and take me away to the mermaids castle. I know I'm stuck on the dry, hot land, on the dry, hot sand. But still, mother ocean, I wait for you to come. I'll be waiting forever...
