Cooking sausage on a cast iron skillet for breakfast. Cast iron skillets are a wonder for cooking; they hold heat nicely and are the original non stick pan! Although Teflon pans are definitely more stick resistant they are nowhere near as durable as the cast iron skillet. Cast iron skillets need to be properly seasoned but once that is done they are amazingly non stick! They can sure take a beating, are easy to clean, and require just a light coating of vegetable oil to prevent rust do that and theyll last for generations.

  • Did you eat all that sausage by yourself? I mean that was alot of sausage! lol. Still though that breakfast does look good.

  • @Saturn554 Not in one sitting but it was finished.

  • Why do you fan oil onto the eggs when cooking? does that make it cook faster?

  • @mrhenderson it is a technique for cooking eggs sunny side up. :)

  • @joefileman I just flip it over...I dont trust undercooked eggs with all the salmonella floating around

  • @mrhenderson I've been flipping fried eggs over lately (sunny side down) - sad for a fan of sunny-side up and soft boiled eggs.

  • It would not have occurred to me to use foil on the sausage. The sunny side eggs, maybe.

  • @onetimexxx Yes it was :). The sausage had sage too. ^^

  • Looks like a wonderful breakfast! :D
