Dobermans have a slightly neurotic need to be with "their people" and to get attention. Every time I'd discipline mine, they'd velcro themselves to me for 30 minutes in apology. I found the best time for training was right after getting home from work. They've been bored all day. A quick run, then some training with lots of "atta boys" before getting dinner. They just thrive on praise and attention. Give Jada a big hug for being a great girl.

very good work. dobies are smart dogs usually, although they can be pretty quirky and sensitive an tempermental at times. probably has someting to do with all the inbreeding/ line breeding that it took to produce the breed and the traits that were wanted. I have had a few throughout the years, one being very very large for a dobie at 120 lbs. man that dog was a beast, walking him was an exercise though.

Thank you! Well I think approx. 3 weeks. She picks up things pretty fast which can be typical of the breed. Thanks for commenting! :)
