When I was younger my mom got married to some Guy who said he would take care of us. He took on the role of my father bc i never had one and My mom married him, and He addopted me. We moved so far away from evryone and Things went bad, At Age 6-12 he was Sexually and physically abusing me and my mom. I was always the quiet and standoffish Girl in school. Evryone Always wondered about me and never Spoke up. in the back of evryones mind i think they knew. Now at age 16 I finally spoke up.

I liked a kid at school for three years and in May I played this song at the school dance, and asked him to dance. He said yes and we started dating. It didn't work out. We started dating again a while ago. Tomorrow is our 2 month anniversary. This song was already the song I turned too when things were bad, but now it's there when things are good too.

I kniw how it feels. I was abused by my mother, my family was broken, i wud hav to see police every other week for my dad and bro got into fight etc the only people I had was my nanna and a family friend. My nanna died then my family friend died of cancer. I started cutting myself to let go of the mental pain even tho it caused physical pain. I never told anyone only my best friend. I don't know anyone named Kristy, or anyone who has problems like her (I hope to God). But I do have a friend who never lets me feel sorry for myself. She always seems to know when I'm down or lonely, which is increasingly often now. She always somehow finds me and just starts talking and cheers me up. I don't know if she knows it, but she's one of my absolute most treasured friends.

Anyway, this song reminds me of her. I'm glad there are people like her who can tell if you have a problem.
