@zenmachinefilms well the state if new hamshire (if im not mistaken) just passed a bill (law) stating that gold and silver be legal tender and that people can trade and batter with gold and silver. i guess the state government of new hamshire is a terrorist organisation and they are commiting fraud too.

This only tells part of the story. Nothaus was found guilty as Liberty Services purpose was to mix Liberty Dollars into the current money of the United States - for it to be used as current money in order to limit reliance on, and to compete with, US currency. The question in the case was proving that was his intent, which the jury found him guilty of. Though it may indeed be overturned for the reasons Peter stated.
Calling Nothaus a domestic terrorist however is of course absurd.
