Kareem was so right! Early departures from college or high school into the NBA rendures the development of players into star quality players, such as Dr. J, Magic, Bird, & Jordan... Hobson should've stayed at UNM. He could've been the top 15 1st round pick in the 2011 draft.

Darrington is a great player on a slightly above average team. The Lobos had a great season record in a very weak conference. One and done in the ncaa tourney as expected. An embarrassing 20 pt loss in the second round to an 11 seed. But that's Alford for you. At least their big brothers down south at NMSU have a sweet 16 to their credit.
