Geo Phyzz - Lush bath bomb old 6.3 oz & new 3.1 sizes

Geo Phyzz bath bomb.

Geo recently became a "mini" bomb, going from the regular 6.3 oz to the 3.1 oz size. I've always loved Geo Phyzz and found it to be one of the more unique products Lush offered. The original 6.3 oz size was densely packed with coarse and Hawaiian sea salts which made it
a very heavy bomb. All that salt made the water feel like silk. So good for the skin. Such a great bathing experience. Pine, cypress, sandalwood fragrance. Very spa. I will miss it.

The new 3.1 size is not just smaller it is a bit different. It has much less salt. It is more traditionally fizzy and has more color. This may help it sell better since Lush's semi-new-found popularity has more and more people looking for the less expensive products and of course....the purty colored water. It still has a wonderful piney scent but
the very special experience of all of that salt is gone.

PS I HATE the mini bomb trend. With passion.

Would you recommend Geo Phyzz now that it's smaller?

Don't know if they have already or not but I heard that Think Pink will be mini, my heart broke when I heard. My 8mo old daughter and I loved all the confetti hearts which i'm sure there won't be a ton of in it as a mini. Do you know of any others turning mini?

@DramaFashionLove I do still like Geo but my usual tub is large (the tub at the end) and it will take me 2 bombs to give me the experience I want.

Ahh, I knew I wasn't hallucinating! I got a few Geo Phyzz bombs last year and fell in LOVE with them. When I ran out, I ordered more this year, but it had been a while since I used them... I thought they looked much smaller, and I noticed the effect was a lot less pronounced in the bath water. Geo Phyzz is still my favorite bath bomb, but I too REALLY miss the big size that they used to have! All the salt in the bigger one made it feel so much more pleasant and earthy! (Isn't that the point?!)

I only have been able to use the Geo Phyzz mini bath bomb and I got great results but I'm really sad that I wasn't able to experience the bigger version. I would but two of the mini ones but that's like 10$ for one bath :P

I tell you what would be awesome? If you got an underwater case for your camera and you could put it under the water! THAT would be awesome!

@PepperMintVenom no the palm oil was the reason the soap changed. has nothing to do wit the bombs.

They are downsizing the bath bombs because of the palm oil, it is getting really expensive and hard to order, that is why they are downsizing them ..

We should boycott the downsizement (is that word? haha) of bath bombs! Urrrg!
