Hand Feeding Young Cockatiels

I have 9 baby cockatiels that I'm hand feeding. They are very sweet and lovable, but also very messy! They make no distinction between mealtime and playtime, so neither do we. It is hard to take yourself too seriously with a bird on your head!

I use Exact hand feeding formula. I usually start hand feeding between 10 and 14 days of age.

Yes, if you want he to be friendly. If you want wild cockatiels for breeding, then you don't have to.

If you want tame chicks, you have to handfeed them from 2 or 3 weeks of age until they eat on their own around 8 weeks of age. If you dan't care if they are tame, then you can let the parents care for them. Most cockatiels make good parents.

Im surprised you dont get headaches with all their screaming! XD My 3 cockatiels do the same thing!

how old are they when this video recorded? I thought they are about to weaned? how rapid you fed them at this age? twice with baby formula and some grains?
