A 4x speed video of Toronto's Sheppard subway line from Don Mills station to Sheppard-Yonge station. The shaking is due to the lack of a tripod.

  • @MarcelloTomas928 When the stations are farther apart like from Eglinton to Sheppard, the trains average around 40km/h. Closer together, they average around 30km/h. I've tracked the speed of trains on the above-ground part of the Spadina with a GPS, and trains typically get up to about 70km/h with 1km spacing. On the eastern Danforth line, speeds are probably higher because the stations are father apart.

  • dame thats fast. LOL

  • sounds like a h4

  • I think it's lapsed tyme or sped up lol

  • Now that's what I call a rocket! We'd probably need seat belts and everyone seated to travel at those speeds! It's like a MagLev!

  • Dude, that was Awsome. But when you were at the cross-section before entering Sheppard-Yonge, if a train would have to go that fast, it would derail for sure.

But anyway, it's still pretty cool!!!

  • me 2 subwayline

  • i just put it in sound recorder and slowed it down 4x i got the real sound lol

  • that was moving so fast lol
