The All About Psychology website http://www.all-about-psychology.com/ is designed to provide as broad an appeal as possible so that visitors will find the content useful and engaging whatever their connection with the topic - student, educator, professional or general interest.

If you are new to the topic, take a look at the What is Psychology page.

A good place to start for visitors looking for information on a specific topic area would be the Types of Psychology section.

Psychology students should check out the Psychological Research Methods and the Psychology Thesis sections of the website as they include some very useful guidance notes as well as links to some outstanding free online resources.

Also if you are a psychology student make sure you get hold of a free copy of the Psychology Student Survival Guide. The guide is based on my experiences as a student and then a lecturer psychology and draws on content from the website.

In producing the Psychology Student Survival Guide I kept one main thought in mind; namely, if I was to go through my psychology education again - beginning when I first started considering studying the topic, right through to graduation and beyond - what information and resources would I most like to have at my disposal?

The primary aim of the Psychology Student Survival Guide, therefore, is to provide an easy to use online reference tool that people can use to quickly locate the information they require.

The Psychology Student Survival Guide is available as a free app for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad; which you can access via the following link.

A text (PDF) version of The Psychology Student Survival Guide is also available.

I really hope that you find all the information and resources on the All About Psychology website useful and engaging.

David Webb BSc (hons), MSc
