I loved being alive in the late 80's and early 90's! I was so down with Wax Trax! back then. In fact, I still have all of my Wax Trax! vinyl and from time to time I lay it down and reminisce about the good ole' days when everything Al Jourgensen put out was solid gold. Thanks for posting this dannyatweirdness.

I believe that this footage was shot at the Cabaret Metro in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. on September 4, 1987.
Classic REVCO.

@trollcrusher242 - In this song at least, Luc has one hand on the bass and another beating a drum with a drumstick. Too bad he still tries to wear his leather after getting too plump for it.

The funny thing is, that whilst living in Chicago, I worked for Wax Trax! Records and was most familiar with the whole "Industrial Dance" scene that was being promoted by the founders of Wax Trax!, Jim Nash and Dannie Flesher (both R.I.P.).
During this show at the Cabaret Metro in Chicago, Luc Van Acker did not remember all of the lyrics to "Attack Ships On Fire" and had the lyrics written down on a piece of paper and either taped or safety pinned to

@trollcrusher242 I was in Denver in the 1991-1992 time. I was a regular at Wax Trax there and the other stores on 13th street. I wish I had been there earlier, but I do not regret the people I met, nor the times I had.

That's Connelly on vocals, and Van Acker is standing behind him in the leathers doing percussion. That, and the fact it totally looks and sounds like Connelly Definitely. He even glances over at Luc at 4:49 before giving him a shout out. Refreshing to see Al not looking like a cartoon character....

@GunHed17 I don't remember where I heard it or possibly read it, but the person was spot on when they said Al's role was "designated yeller".
