The map showing Islam spread is wrong. It shows Italy as part of Islam realm while only Sicily has been muslim. Really strange that they cant even get that straight!

@ptfm5661 this documentary is inaccurate. There is quotes on violence in the Quran, BUT no UNJUSTIFIED violence exists.

Is it possible that Islam says to its followers to live in peace when you can, but only when attacked is violence justified? Do they have a right to defend themselves? To those who say that Islam preaches nothing but peace and to those who say Islam preaches nothing but war. Could it be both?

@yankee22167 That ain't so. People will behave as "nasty and evil" whenever they are driven by power, fear, or greed. This has been so in all religions, and almost all nations. It's a sadly universal human motivation to use aggression to gain power. If religion or ideology is the supposed banner for the war, that's a greater shame because it puts a pretty face on plain old greed, as in any conquest (Christian, Islamic, imperialist, capitalist/globalizationist, Communist, or otherwise).

Ok, so if God's going to do so, why the sudden rush to do His job for Him by killing those who resist the religion? If people really believe that God will eventually kill or stop the people who don't believe in the "one true religion" (whether it's Christianity, Islam, etc), then why do they insist on killing His supposed enemies for Him, long before Judgment Day? Do they not trust Him to do so?

Because the accountants in the towers didn't attack us. The west? didnt really attack us, Israel has been attacking us. When the "west" attacked us, it was WWII and it was because we were allied with the Germans. The "West" support Israel. Israel continues to be our enemy. This doesnt warrant attacking innocent people sitting in their work place. The prophet clearly said, do not attack those who do not fight you. Those who died at the towers, never did anything bad to me. they didn't deserve it.
