Reason vs. Race-based Schools (Pt 2 of 3)

Part 2 of 3 parts.

On January 24, 2008, Freedom Party leader Paul McKeever was a guest of "On the Line", a live call-in talk show on Crossroads Television (CTS) hosted by Christine Williams.

The one hour program focussed primarily on a proposal by the Toronto District School Board to launch an "Afrocentric" school for "Blacks" in Toronto, as a three year pilot project.

On January 29, 2008, the TDSB adopted the proposal. A debate is now raging about racism, segregation, and education.

McKeever condemns the proposal, and proposes, instead, that all children need to learn how to make rational valuations of people, ethics, and things.

I don't think there was any mentioning of having only black students in these BLACK FOCUS SCHOOLS, if i'm not corrected i think BLACK FOCUS means studying the teachings of Afrikan studies that ecompass not only history but math, science an english. We were the first people of all aspects of knowledge. i've been going to a eurocentric schools from kindergarten straight to college and university. Too much white. we need some truth.

The point I'm trying to make is that, untimely it's government that decides what race you are, whether you like it or not. I know "Native Americans" that are 3/4 white,yet get a check form the collection of my tax dollars because they fit government's criteria of what a "Native American" is.When I said "She's black enough to be called "black"". I meant, by Government standards, not mine. Take note, I put the latter word black in quotations.
