State Senator Walks 100 plus miles for Children's Health

On May 13 2011, Ohio State Senator Eric H. Kearney began his Fifth Annual, 4 Day Children's Health walk. It Started in Cincinnati, Ohio and it will end in Columbus, at the Ohio Statehouse on Monday the 16th around 5pm.

The walk is a great journey totaling One Hundred plus miles and over 40 hours of walking. This incredible effort helps to raise awareness and bring attention to children's health issues.

This year the focus is on Juvenile Diabetes and children with Sickle Cell Anemia. At the Event kick off celebration, we heard information on how we can help young people with these diseases and how we can fight for a cure.

Senator Kearney also had major support from area businesses and many others including National radio talk show and tv host, Lincoln Ware of wdbz 1230 am the buzz
