@TheMaristBoy You might be surprised how many networks want some of these illusions on TV shows. The Japanese networks love them especially, but I wasn't contacted by National Geographic for this one. Are you positive that what you saw in the commercial was this exact same version of this illusion?

@TheMaristBoy Actually I researched it and they just made re-creations of my videos (3 of them). They're all the same as my videos, even the backgrounds, but they decided to make their own instead of contacting me because they'd need to pay me to use my videos. Glad they like them....but...whatever...

I was gonna record it, but totally forgot and was kicking myself in the ass. Now that I know they just stole from you, I'm glad I missed it & I'll just watch all your awesome illusions instead.

@SpiderShane1 I appreciate the kind words and I'm glad that you're a fan of my work. That National Geographic show is a 3-part series called "Brain Games". I have it recorded but didn't watch it yet. The more I think about it, they didn't technically steal from me illegally, but just used the exact illusions, method of presentation and even backgrounds as I did. They can do that legally because you can't copyright an idea necessarily..only the actual videos themselves..oh well. Thanks!!

@greeenpro2009 Let's face it, it is not as if you invented these illusions. But if they copied your whole clip (as in, the way you are showing the illusion) then shame on them. But you did not 'invent' these illusions, they are very commonly known and lots of variations on this theme (offset checkerboard, checkerboard with grey lines in between etc) are around. Still very nice work, enjoyed the video! Thumbs up!
