I'm glad they changed the theme. It sounded like a bunch of lumber jacks or the seven dwarves. And the pilot mom was a bad actor. Good pilot though. I like that he missed jake. Very cute.

I noticed the majority of this footage was used in the actual pilot episode, the only difference I see is the casting Blythe Danner instead of Holland Taylor. I bet the only scenes they had to re-film was Evelyn's scenes

@Thewehatecenaguy That's Blythe Danner, an exceptionally accomplished stage and screen actress, and, BTW, Gwyneth Paltrow's Mom in real life! Check her out of IMDB. Interesting that they changed the decor of Evelyn's house from very traditional to ultra-modern.
