Fatal Portrait wasn't a "warm up," dude... if you don't think that the first two MF records were as good as anything he ever did, I gotta think you're huffing paint man. Sorry...

I can't think of one metal band even in the 80s that had melodies quite like KD... so you must be new to rock music if you think there's even a single band that could touch them "nowadays," lol. Alot of bands nowadays don't have any melody like King Diamond does! Andy LeRocque is a vey talented Guitarist and is very underrated! Anyway badass song!
