1. Prelude 2. Fire Engine 3. The Bedroom 4. Flowers of Fire 5. The Road and Finale.
From "The Fantasy Film World of Bernard Herrmann" album - National Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Bernard Herrmann (Decca Phase 4 PFS 4309 - 1974).
@heyboy08 Those are the exact words that came to my mind when I first heard this radiant closing benediction to Truffaut's masterpiece. Listen to the music Herrmann composed in 1947 for "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir". In a score of ineffable sadness and beauty, he takes us on an odyssey of full-blooming love through betrayal, loneliness, and finally, death and transcendence. But yes, this ending to Farenheit 451 is three minutes of Heaven.

Great album. I have the Decca Phase 4 LP as well. (Very thick vynal). "The Road and Finale" is a nice composition. Sounds a bit sad.
