I just talked to somebody who did not want to speak with me about "saved by grace through faith" - she insisted that she had her part, saying "but I had to make a decision". Well it is poor! Because she does not understand the CALL of the Gospel! Call to what? God calls all men to repent and BELIEVE - believe means to trust in God´s finished work, to trust that Christ Jesus saved YOU by HIS blood...that is by grace through faith!

Salvation has NOTHING to do with a human decision but all to do with faith in a person´s heart which God worketh from above according to HIS choice of GRACE! (according to Romans 9 and the whole councel of God´s will)! FAITH is the work of GOD (ergon thou theou) as it is written in John! AFTER somebody is saved he will make right choices for and towards God -but that is AFTER HE HAS BEEN BORN FROM ABOVE
