Hi all
Here's my latest video offering.
Bono wrote the song about being a rock star and the rewards and sacrifices that that status brings: the juxtaposition of the 'guilty' wealth and celebrity against being away from the family and losing his identity.
For the video footage I decided to keep with the era (I know some fans like to merge all eras, but I feel that the video must be relevant to the time of the song) so I used the studio footage of Gone from the A Year In Pop documentary mixed with live shots from the videos for Mofo and the Tour Visuals Montage, centring on Bono's stage persona and opting for grainy or blurred imagery.
I used the original audio from the Pop album (as rough as it is) because I personally like that version ;)
I guess that the format is similar to my video for Acrobat.
Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

@dtpc19199 A person after my own heart! I agree with you 150%! I've never been able to pick their best songs and everytime I listen to a track I pick up new meaning and definition of sound. Legends and my all-time favorite band!

I think it's great how you always stick with the era of the album - really well done. POP was a rushed production, but even that couldn't hide the talent. The evolution of this band has always fascinated me. What enables four men to create music like this?
