  • @avellanmm Thanks for pointing out the ridiculous contradiction in the title =)

  • The title is somehow misleading! Catholicism vs. Christianity? Are catholics not christians too? Isn't a christian denomination too? I know that there might be differences in theology (totally agree), but catholics, evangelicals, etc believes in Christ, therefore, they are christians too. Nevertheless, thanks for posting these videos. Although I don't agree with Dr. Martin in this discussion, I love these kind of videos! You learn a bunch from both sides. Thanks!

  • @cr500blur Bible teaches going by the 'Bible alone'? Not even close. 2 Pt 1:20 'First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation'. I got much better things to do than hear ur insults and pathetic lack (or denial) of intellgence. U can continue twisting scripture according to ur own 'private' interpretations to ur own destruction. I'll stick with the author of of Scipture and the one who's been studying it for 2000 years.

  • @cr500blur And face it boy, there really are 30,000 denominations of contradicting intepretations out there by 'conservative' estimates. Each one like u going by 'Bible alone' and contradicting each other faster than rabbits can breed. Don't need an interpreter? In reference to Paul's writings, 2 Pt 3:15-16 says 'There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures.'

  • @cr500blur U have answered 'ZERO' questions. U only gave me insult after insult and emotional opinions about how "stoopid' I am as ur 'answers'. Then with a self-righteous, pompous attitude, u proceed to infallibly declare that I'm wrong . Who's the 'stupid' one here? Since when did u become God equal to God (actually when did u think u became equal)? U know, Lucifer tried that before u and guess what? HE FAILED! LOL!

  • @cr500blur If u don't even accept the fact that Matthew was written in Koine greek where lithos and petros are two entirely different thing, then don't waste my time. As for me being 'indoctrinated' by the church, I can say the same for u, u hypocrite. Aren't u 'indoctrinated' by ur church and pastor? Haven't u been learning from ur pastors and other so-called bible scholars? As for 'bias', I was Baptist before I became Catholic. So I have no 'bias' for the RCC.

  • @cr500blur U said "In the scripture it says 2 + 2 = 4, for example. I don't need anyone to tell me that's math." Then I tell u to give me book, chapter, and verse for that and u call that a 'stoopid question'. Before u insult me (again and again...) u should check ur spelling. U can't even spell 'stupid' properly. Hope ur not too drunk as ur commenting.

And then u go on ur typical emotional tirades that I see little girls do when they're punished for hitting their friends for no reason.

  • @darbiter90 - Matthew 7:6

This scripture is pretty clear about debating scripture with those that will not listen or that simply argue EVERY point. This is a good description...

"There are some people with which you just cannot share the things of God. You just shouldn't even try to share the things of God with them. They will not respect them. They'll just make fun of them."

I have answered every point, and you have not been able to understand any of it. Look in the mirror...

  • @darbiter90 - "does it say " 2 + 2 = 4"". Stoopid question.

    "Bible teach math?". Stoopid question.

I admit that you probably don't have the intelligence to understand much in Bible discussion, but at some point one would think you would be able to understand simple English. So much for 'eisegesis'.

People like you are not capable of understanding as you are so indoctrinated by your belief system. That is your arrogant choice.

"30,000 denominations". What a stoopid comment.

  • @darbiter90 - "...u stated Peter called Jesus the rock?"

Where did you get that from? Round and round you go...

    Let's catch you up AGAIN.

Jesus is the proverbial ROCK of Matthew 16, because the answer spoken by Peter but from God is the gospel of Christ. Belief in Christ, the Son of the living God, is the same as belief in the statement in Matthew from God, through Peter.

Splitting hairs with these statements doesn't change the fact that the important point is the gospel...
